Black Eyed Peas get a Black Eye

Manager of the Black Eyed Peas, Liborio Molina, was recently charged for the assault of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.

The altercation, which happened at the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto, came after the gossip queen made a snide comment to the band’s female vocalist Fergie. Fergalicious had approached her “pal” Perez, as any friend would when they sense there’s something wrong, to ask if there was a problem. His response: No. I just don’t like your record. (Kinda harsh words to gooi at your friend, ne?)

We think it might have something to do with the fact that BFF Fergie and the Boys walked away with an award that night. It sucks when your not the life of the party, hmmm?

will.i.am, later, got a chance to speak to Madame Perez about the exchange of words (many of which I am leaving out – why write it when you can hear it for yourself: WATCH THIS SPACE…)

While Willem and P. Hilt were throwing words back and forth, Liborio (the manager dude, aka Polo Molina) decided to step in to calm the situation. Turns out, his involvement was something akin to spraying a lighter with an aerosol can. Talk about aggrevating a situation.

Maybe next time Liborio will stick to what he knows best – managing an award-winning band, ‘cos look were doing the opposite has landed him now? Well, Mr Macho is due to appear in a Toronto court on August 5 to answer the assault charge.

We hope he didn’t get the pap attitude from his mama…
