Andwele, Tanzanian for ‘God Brought Me’ – Hmmm…

Now here’s a subject that will get quite a rize  out of this neo-soul artist’s fans. Now, he’s on some kinda other level with lyrics that resonate life and love in various manifestations. These manifestations present themselves as sketches of a man. A man they call Dwele!

Getting closer to his roots (or should we say his name’s) neo-soul singer, songwriter, and producer Dwele will be performing live in South Africa on 3 September.

Dwele, short for Andwele, grew up on Detroit’s west side and began writing songs at the age of 10. Some of his musical influences are Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Roy Ayers, Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, and A Tribe Called Quest but his ear for music extended far beyond mere appreciation. At the tender age of 6. he played piano while other instruments grew on him with him later taking up trumpet, bass and guitar.

More information on the concert venue and ticket price/sale will be available soon. Watch this space…

The Dwele cocnert is brought to you by Urban Phenomenon Entertainment.
