Get Up in WONDERboom’s Business!

WONDERboom : Up Close and Personal will be a nostalgic experience of 15 years worth of musical genius and more. For just two shows only, on Sunday, 27 November, and Monday, 28 November, you can catch this dynamic rock band at Old Mutual Theatre on the Square in Sandton.

Die-hard fans can get an ear dose of WONDERboom golden oldies made new with switched up sounds. Brand new audiences can enjoy this unique opportunity to get to know each member through individual performances. The die-hards and the newbies will both get a chance to brush shoulders with the band after the show.

If you miss out on the show, it’s not the end of the world – although it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The event will be the set for a recording of a Live DVD due for release next year. And if you’ve got a WONDERboom story that you’ve been itching to tell, your moment of glory might be immortalised on film as part of the “WONDERboom behind the scenes” feature. Ain’t that schweet?!

WONDERboom’s Cito had this to say:

“We look forward to deconstructing our songs, rediscovering the essence and then re-interpreting them. There’s something special about stripping down what is usually a rock production wall of sound and giving the songs new life. Just to see (or hear) the music stand on its own two legs will be an incredible experience for the 4 of us, made even more poignant performing it in front of our fans who have travelled this incredible journey with us and capturing it on film for posterity.”

Tickets for this intimate concert experience are available at R150 from Strictly Tickets at www.strictlytickets.com or by calling 082 553 5903.
