Die Heuwels Fantasties’ Charity Concerts

It seems Die Heuwels Fantasties are doing some fantastic things in the name of charity! The Afrikaans pop-electro group is holding two concerts to raise funds for charity organisation People Living with Cancer. Get involved in the cause by attending at the Willowbridge Barnyard Theatre in Tyrgervalley on 14 and 15 August 2012.

Die Heuwels guitar and vocalist Hunter Kennedy had this to say about their charitable endeavour, “We’re very excited to do something like this again at the Barnyard. Last year was a major success. It felt slightly like a street braai with all our school friends and their parents attending. Much more is expected this time around, with it being for a good cause.”

Record label Supra Familias has a long history with the People Living with Cancer organisation. Die Heuwels Fantasties has also been involved with charities throughout their career.  In 2010 the band raised money for the Vrede Foundation by putting out a special Vredefest Elektro compilation album.  The Vrede Foundation also caters to young children living with cancer.
